Carp League Baseball 2004
Hats off to RN's Medicine Men, who win the 2004 Carp League baseball championship in a very close race over the Dead C's. The Tube Sox finish third, Sans Ganoe place fourth, and Rog Against the Machine slides into the money with a fifth plase finish. It's the fourth title for the Medicine Men, putting them to a solid lead in career titles over four teams with two.
It was a big year for offense, as evidenced by Junta del Diablo breaking the home
run record with 310. The previous record had been by the 2001 Medicine Men with
297. The saves record also fell, with the Ganja Warriors late season run on saves
getting them to a new high of 110, breaking the Six o'Clock Swingers record of 102
from 2002. The 167 transactions by the Medicine Men I'm pretty sure is a record,
too!
