Carp League Baseball 2005

Well, I don't think we can top this one for a close finish. A dead heat! The Dead Carmelos and Sans Ganoe each finish at 106 points, which is itself an all-time record for total points, and for the first time ever force the league's tiebreaker rule into action.  If that's note enough, the teams tie 5-5 on the first tiebreaker criteria, which is head to head category comparision - and fall to the second criteria (each teams at-bats to three times the number of innings pitched). The Dead C's prevail 11398 to 11017. For the rest of the In-The-Money finishes, the Six O'Clock Swingers finish third, the Silverstones take fourth, and Junta del Diablo and Choosy Mothers get into the money with a fifth place tie.
